May picks are in! I’m not surprised by most of these, but I wouldn’t say I’m overly excited for this month. We did get 9 new books this month, with four being from repeat authors and two debut authors. We also ended up with two historical fictions, three contemporary fiction, 1 thriller, 2 romances, and…

December 2022 Book of the Month
The final books of the year have dropped from Book of the Month, and quite a bit earlier than anticipated! Even though I like this month’s picks, I had a hard time deciding on which ones to add to my box. In part because I have copies of 3 of then, and had already pre-ordered…
November 2022 Book of the Month
Two months left in the year and Book of the Month is putting out a ton of books for November. November is the unofficially non-fiction month of the year. Maybe Non-fiction November is official, I’m not sure, but it is the month I tend to focus on reading more than just 1 non-fiction book, so…
Station Eternity
Mallory has been involved with countless murders. Not because she’s actually murdered anyone but because somehow murders are drawn to her, very Miss Marplesque. While she does a great job of solving the murders she happens to stumble upon, it doesn’t exactly make her popular to be around. When Mallory gets the chance to take…
Grave Reservations

August 2022 Book of the Month
Another month and another patch of books to pick from! This month we get to choose from 7 main picks and an additional 2 add-ons. There are a couple of repeat authors in the mix but this is the second month without a debut author. I’m all for repeat authors, especially since one of them…
July 2022 Book of the Month
I am actually shocked there are no debut books this month. I have noticed that July has less new releases than other months but between the main picks and the add-ons, four of the authors are repeats. There also is not a single historical fiction pick which is very surprising to me! However, they did…
June 2022 Book of the Month
I feel a little disappointed in the picks this month. Mainly because I have 5 out of the main picks, so I really only had one book to choose from which is a ‘me’ problem. I’m extremely surprised we only saw 1 add-on this month and it’s from a repeat author. I really thought we’d…
Layla
I’ve only read two Colleen Hoover books. One being Verity and this one, Layla, I have yet to venture into the world of traditional CoHo romance books and while I’ve been meaning to dive into that world, Verity has set my CoHo bar wayyyy high! Like Verity, Layla, is a mixture of genres. In this…
In a Holidaze
In a Holidaze is my very first Christina Lauren book. While I know their books are wildly popular, I’m not a huge romance fan and had yet to dive into any of them. When Jordan and I decided that we wanted to read something ‘fun’ and ‘Christmasy’ for our December Let’s Read Rant and Repeat…
