March 2024 | Aardvark Predictions

Even though Aardvark is great about giving us hints each month so we know what the picks will be before they ‘go live’, I thought it would be fun to start putting together my own predictions based on my reading and experience with Aardvark. This will be my second month doing predictions for Aardvark and if you have recommendations on format or what you’d like to see, feel free to contact me!

Unlike some other book clubs, I feel that Aardvark is a bit more of a wildcard when it comes to their picks. I don’t feel that they ever have a set formula for the genres they pick, but I have noticed the books all tend to have similar ‘vibes’ or similar themes and tones. While they’re also featured some well-known authors, I find that their books tend to be more on the edgy or experimental side and showcase more less known authors. Because of this, I’ve listed my predicts all together instead of breaking them out by genre.

Whether or not these are actually picks, only time will tell. Even if they are not, all or most of these are on my February Most Anticipated New Releases,my March Most Anticipated New Release list and my Winter 2024 Most Anticipated.

When the picks are announced and you find you have space in your box still, make sure to also check reviews of all past Aardvark Books that I’ve read HERE or check out my list of all the 2023 picks I read HERE, because who couldn’t use even more books!

Keep in mind that these are simply predictions and books I hope get chosen. I could get these completely wrong, but the anticipation and guessing is part of the fun right?!

March 2024 Predictions

All of these books have the ‘Aardvark vibe’ in my opinion. They’re a little different, edgier, and The Main Character would be a repeat author. It’s hard to tell if Aardvark will be doing repeat and 3peat authors the way other book clubs do, but Jaclyn Goldis The Chateau was a 2023 pick. I’m currently reading both The Book of Doors and Piglet and both are always giving me Aardvark vibes, which is why I’ve added them here.

Do you think any of these will be picks? Just a few days left before the Aardvark team starts putting out hints for their picks!

It does! I must have gotten it confused with another. I’ll have to edit that.
