July 2023 Most Anticipated

Summer has officially started, and ya’ll is it hot in Texas. We’ve had way too many 100+ days so far and July has not even started! The only thing this hot weather makes me want to do is sit in the pool with a cold drink and a fast-paced book! Shocking, right?

During the hotter months I find I can’t concentrate on heavy or deep books much, so you’ll generally find me reading page turning thrillers, fantasy, and tons of romantic comedies until the heat dies down. With that said, my Most Anticipated are really favoring these 3 genres as of now.

I have quite a few advanced copies of the books below. So far, I’ve been able to read 3 of my most anticipated and I’ve linked my reviews below:

Katherine Center is a auto buy author for me. While Hello Stranger wasn’t my favorite of her books I’ve read, it still was an enjoyable read.

Amy Engel’s The Familiar Dark was one of my top 10 reads a few years ago when it came out, so of course I rushed to read her newest release. I did find I enjoyed The Familiar Dark more but I Did it For You, is a prefect summer page turning thriller.

If you’re looking for a cute sex positive rom-com, look no further than Rachel Lynn Solomon’s upcoming release Business or Pleasure. I love that the miscommunication trope wasn’t used, and found this open-door romance to be a page turner.
