Summer vacation is upon us! We’ll not me personally because I don’t have kids and I don’t work for a school district but that doesn’t mean I’m not ready for summer time fun! The official first day of summer is June 21st, and if you’re like me and love to read by bodies of water (ie, at the pool, lake, beach, by your bathtub, whatever) than I’ve got the perfect summer reading recommendations.
Though I do like the occasional heavy hitter, I tend to really dive into fast paced and lighter reads during the summer. So most of my recommendations will fall into one of these categories. I’ve also linked my full reviews of most of these books for easy access. So if you have you beach bags packed and are headed on holiday this summer, be sure to pick up one of these great reads!
