I seriously need authors to start writing slower or for the publishing companies to not publish a single thing for the next 796 months. My ‘To Be Read’ list is jam packed, and with so many books in August coming out, I am just never going to catch up. If I only get to read 12 books coming out in August, these are my top 12 picks!

I’ve been lucky to read a few of these already, including already having read my Karin Slaughter Will Trent book for the year and Sarah Pekkanen’s newest release! Which FYI, if you haven’t read Slaughter’s Will Trent / Grant County series you should. If you love a good murder mystery/detective series, pick these up immediately. It’s one of my all-time favorites. Of the other ten I have copies of all but two so be on the lookout for my reviews of these as the month goes on.
