November 2023 Book of the Month

Two months left in the year and Book of the Month is putting out a ton of books for November. November is the unofficially non-fiction month of the year. Maybe Non-fiction November is official, I’m not sure, but it is the month I tend to focus on reading more than just 1 non-fiction book, so I’m a little surprised not to see a non-fiction pick this month.

There are 8 options to choose from this month. There are four repeat authors making an appearance and one debut. I only have copies of three of this month’s picks, and the one I have read is an add-on. I most likely won’t be much help this month if you’re looking to narrow your box down.

If you are still looking for something to read, be sure to check out some of my Most Anticipated New Releases lists. If you’re looking for add-ons to put into your boxes, be sure to check out my BOTM add-on recommendations, which I update every couple of months.

My Box

I might be skipping this month. I’m not disappointed in this month’s picks. Even though they’re both repeat authors, I’m surprised to see two YA picks this month. I already have copies of Check & Mate, The Future, and Again and Again which are the ones I most would want most from our options. Of these three, I’ve read The Future and you can find my review below.

The Future Review

I know Ali Hazelwood has a formula she uses for every book, but I don’t care, I still thoroughly enjoy her books. I am interested to see how the YA aspect plays into it and look forward to reading it soon. I also have really been wanting to read Again and Again, I just have not had a chance at this moment, so check back later in the month to see if I have a review up.

Let us Descend, The Last Love Note, & The Helsinki Affair are all getting great reviews and if I change my mind, I’ll be picking one of these up. Let us Descend is on Oprah’s recommendation list, if that helps give you decide. What the River Knows while on my TBR is a series, and I tend to stay away from series nowadays from BOTM. I like my books to match so will not be getting it from BOTM. Lastly, This Spells Love is a debut, so it pains me to not pick it but I think I’ll save this for a library hold.

That’s what’s in my box this month!

Did we pick any of the same books this month? Let me know in the comments below or over on my Instagram HERE.
