February 2023 Most Anticipated

Halfway through the first month of 2023, and it’s time to look forward to all the new releases hitting shelves in February. January and February are my favorite time of the year to read, since it’s normally the coldest months of the year, it’s the perfect time to curl up on the couch and binge read anything and everything! If only babies agreed with this decision.

February may be the shortest month of the year, but it’s not lacking in fabulous new releases. I’m so behind on my reading lately, that I’ve only read one February release so far, but I do have quite a few lined up on my TBR over the next two weeks, so be sure to check back for full reviews soon for some of them.

While I want to read basically everything on this list, these are the top 12 I’m looking forward to the most. I have copies of all but 4 of these and have read Alex North’s upcoming release The Angelmaker already. I’ve really enjoyed his books in the past, but this one is a bit darker. It has a super slow start but is still excellently written.

The Angel Maker REview

I adored Rebecca Makkai’s The Great Believers a few years ago and I’m excited to see what her newest mystery unfolds. My in-laws also pre-ordered me a copy of A Day of Fallen Night and I AM STOKED! I loved The Priority of the Orange Tree and am really excited to dive into this world again. Don’t Fear the Reaper and Victory City are also high on my wishlist!
