A wedding in Dream Harbor means the entire town is ready to get involved, whether anyone asks them to or not. With Jeanie and Logan preparing to say “I do,” and Kira hoping to showcase her newly renovated barn at the Christmas tree farm, everything seems perfectly on track. Annie is tasked with baking the wedding cake, while Mac is… well, being Mac. As snow falls and the town rallies around the wedding of the year, the two longtime enemies are forced into close proximity. But when sparks start flying, Annie and Mac must decide if they can set aside decades of dislike long enough for love to bloom.
I seriously enjoyed this one. I’m a sucker for a good enemies-to-lovers story, and while there was a bit of “instant love,” I think they get a pass when they’ve been enemies for literal decades. I loved getting both Annie and Mac’s POVs, and the flashbacks woven throughout the story added so much depth to their relationship. This wasn’t a super deep or heavy read, but it was cozy, fun, and incredibly easy to fall into. I listened to this one on audio and the narration was top-notch, which really elevated the experience. Honestly, this might be one of my favorites in the series.
