Aardvark June 2025

June 2025 Aardvark Picks are here! And while it’s a solid lineup with some exciting titles, I’ll be sitting this one out. Why? Because I already own all of this month’s picks (yes, even the ones that haven’t come out yet ), and I’ve already read 2.5 of them. So we’re calling this a responsible skip… right?

If you are still looking for something to read be sure to check out some of my Most Anticipated New Releases lists. If you’re looking for add-ons to put into your boxes, be sure to check out other reviews from previous Aardvark picks.

June Picks

My Box

I figured with 2.5 down and the rest on my shelf, I’d let my wallet breathe a little. But if you’re still browsing, it’s a great month for thrillers and dark fiction fans! Plus I have copies of The Devils, The Memory Collectors, and Disappoint Me waiting to be read; so really it’s like I picked all of this month’s books!

I’ve already read Someone Knows and Starving Saints. Someone Knows by Vi Keeland, I loved this twisty, page-turning thriller. It kept me guessing until the very last page. Highly recommend if you want a quick, suspenseful read you’ll inhale in one sitting.

Someone Knows Review

Starving Saints, ugh. The vibes were there, the writing was solid, but honestly? I’m still not sure how I feel about it. Somewhere between “hmm” and “meh.” If you like gory fever dreams or Rouge by Mona Awad, you’ll probably enjoy this one.

I’m currently reading and loving Left of Forever. Beautiful writing, strong characters, and just the right emotional pull to keep me hooked.
