June books are here and I’m iffy on this month’s picks! I’ve read only one of the picks so far this month and so I don’t have a ton of insight this go around to help guide your choices. I will have one review up later tonight and if you have any helpful insight from reading any of this month’s picks, feel free to comment below!
If you are still looking for something to read be sure to check out some of my Most Anticipated New Releases lists. If you’re looking for add-ons to put into your boxes, be sure to check out other reviews from previous Aardvark picks.

I actually have copies of all of this month but This Summer Will Be Different. So far, I’ve read The Last Murder at the End of the World and it’s not something that I loved. I always feel this way about Stuart Turton’s books though. I love the premise and the execution isn’t bad, I just never connect with the characters and always am left wanting more from them. I’ll have a review up later today, but it was ok.
I’m also not a crazy huge fan of Carly Fortune’s books. I like them but I’m never as obsessed with them as others. It’s on my list to read but nothing I’m dying to read.
I’ve been reading The Eyes are the Best Part and it’s a short read and I’m into it so far! Hopefully will have a review up soonish.
If I had to pick one book though it would be Kevin Kwan’s Lies and Weddings. I always enjoy his books and it’s the safest book for me to recommend at the moment.
