I’m surprised by this month’s Aardvark picks! I actually love the line up this month and I have all but one of this month’s picks already, so narrowing down my box was pretty easyyy. While I haven’t finished any of them yet because I’ve been reading 76 things at a time lately, I am hopeful I’ll have some positive reviews to share soon since I have 3 partially read.
If you are still looking for something to read be sure to check out some of my Most Anticipated New Releases lists. If you’re looking for add-ons to put into your boxes, be sure to check out other reviews from previous Aardvark picks.

My Pick
Full disclosure I have copies of all of these except for Bride. So obviously I’m going to pick that as my book for the month! I love Ali Hazelwood a good romance mashup, so I’m all in on diving into her newest release!
Of the others I’m almost done with Everyone Who Can Forgive Me is Dead. I’ve been listening to it on and off for the past few weeks. Quite honestly, I’m not completely sold on it but I think the audiobook narrators stresses me out. I think I would have finished this much faster if I was reading it, so I’m actually planning to read my eARC instead of finishing the audio.
I’ve also started Piglet. It’s interesting and short, but I can’t say I’m too invested at 30% in. I started reading it when I was in a bit of a reading rut, so I might just need to start over to really grasp the story again. It’s not a DNF for me but more ‘try at a different time’.
The Warm Hands of Ghosts is actually on my list to start this weekend and I’m so surprised it was a pick. While her Bear in the Nightingale series was enjoyable, she has a more lyrical and atmospheric style of writing that takes me longer to read. I’m very interested to see how her new book compares to her others.
Lastly, I do have copies of Baby X and Wandering Stars. I have heard nothing but good things about them, with more than a few people naming Baby X as a five star read.
That’s what’s in my box this month! Did we pick any of the same books this month? Let me know in the comments below, over on my Instagram HERE, or on my TikTok HERE.
