My Thoughts

No One Saw, is the second installment of the A.L. McKittridge detective series. This series is a solid detective mystery series. The main characters’ are likable but flawed, the plots are intriguing and complication enough to keep you guessing. They’re also easy and quick reads that are the perfect palate cleanser.

In this book, A.L. McKittridge and Rena Morgan are back and are tasked with locating a 5 year that was taken from her daycare. The disappearance of Emma mirrors the disappearance of another child, in a town nearby, leaving the duo wondering if this is the work of a serial kidnapper. It’s hard to get to much more into the story without giving away spoilers but just know that there are enough twists and turns in this book to keep you guessing whodunnit.

I thought the writing in this book was a little more advanced and I love the relationship between Morgan and McKittridge. It adds a little humor to an otherwise beak sceneries of a kidnapping. We also get enough back ground and side stories into the detectives lives to build a closeness with the detectives but it’s not enough to deter from the main story line; which I enjoy.

Sound mystery and I can’t wait to read what they solve next. This book is out now, get it HERE!

About the Author

Raised in a small town in Illinois and she was a frequent visitor to the little library. She has always been drawn to book featuring feisty heroines in dangeBeverly Longrous situations and wanted to be Trixie Belden or Nancy Drew.

She co-authored her first book in fourth grade, discovering the love of creating characters. In high school, she knew that writing was easy for me. If there was a choice between dissecting the frog and writing the five page paper about it, she volunteered for the paper every time.

She has a business degree, an MBA, and worked for many years as a human resources leader.

She has continued to be a reader, however, gravitating toward romantic fiction. And in her mid-thirties, decided that it might be time to write my her own book. Many years later in 2005, her first book, Stay with Me, was published. In the years since then, she’s written many more books and novellas.
