Nothing in Cloverhill Lakes is as perfect as it seems. When Regan Hoffman’s car explodes at a Labor Day party, killing the wrong person, the carefully curated lives of this elite lakefront community begin to unravel. As secrets surface and a neighbor goes missing, Regan is thrust into a dangerous web of lies, made even more unsettling when she spots her supposedly dead husband alive.

I absolutely loved this book. I’ve been struggling to focus lately and keep bouncing between books (I’m literally reading like eight at once), but this one hooked me immediately and I was all in from the very first page. It starts with a literal bang and delivers everything I love: rich housewives, messy secrets, bingeability, and nonstop action.

The three POVs (Sasha, Regan, and Andi) were so engaging, even though I’ll admit I was briefly confused with all the interconnected characters at the start. Once it clicked, though, I couldn’t put it down. The ending was fantastic. I had a suspicion, but I was never completely sure until the final reveal. It’s a little wild and not entirely realistic, but it works so well for the story.

Easy 5 stars. I binged this in one night and stayed up until 2:30 AM to finish it… and honestly, no regrets.

Bonus points – it’s available on KindleUnlimited!
