November 2025 Most Anticipated

November is shaping up to be a deliciously busy month for new books, and I’m already eyeing all the releases I can’t wait to get my hands on. From gripping thrillers and cozy mysteries to swoon-worthy romances and imaginative fantasy, there’s something for every reading mood this month. With the holidays around the corner, I’m predicting plenty of early reads, late-night page-turners, and a few titles that will likely make perfect gift picks for bookish friends (or yourself!). Here’s a roundup of the November 2025 releases I’m most excited about diving into.

As I always do in my ‘Most Anticipated’ write ups, I’m sharing a few that I’m most excited for first. I then separate out new releases by their release date. I don’t go into too much detail on each of the books being released, because we’d be here forever, but you can always click on the image of the book to get more info.

The below are my top 12 must reads coming out in November! Of the twelve, I have copies of all so be sure to sign up to be alerted when I start posting reviews.

On the mystery and thriller side, Innocence Road by one of my all-time favorites Laura Griffin promises another taut, atmospheric suspense read, while Gilly Macmillan’s The Burning Library looks like a chilling exploration of family secrets and betrayal. Nicole Baart’s Where He Left Me blends emotional depth with slow-burn tension, and Amy K. Green’s Haven’t Killed in Years stands out with its sharp premise and darkly clever edge.

If fantasy and sci-fi are more your thing, Travis Baldree returns to the cozy world of Legends & Lattes with Brigands and Breadknives, a book I can’t wait to curl up with, and Grace Walker’s The Merge promises a thrilling high-concept, emotionally charged debut perfect for fans of speculative fiction. Christina Henry delivers her signature gothic tone in The Place Where They Buried Your Heart, a haunting piece of historical fiction that blends atmosphere and heartbreak. For romance readers, Marisa Kashino’s Best Offer Wins delivers witty banter and emotional stakes, while Megan Oliver’s Secret Nights and Northern Lights offers a perfect November vibe with its cozy, wintry setting and heartfelt love story. On the contemporary and literary fiction front, Brian Schaefer’s Town & Country is a sharp, insightful take on ambition and identity, while Mindy Hung’s luminous The Glowing Life of Leeann Wu promises an unforgettable debut about family, authenticity, and self-discovery.
