New Release Tuesday | February 16, 2021

The only good thing about this week so far is the massive list of new books coming out today! Because let’s face it, us Texans were not built to handle snow. We don’t like to be cold and with the rolling power outages all over the state due to this crazy winter storm, you can bet that we’re all inside, under mounds of blankets, and in my case with a good book in hand! This week, I have 1 review and multiple unread ARCs, that celebrate book birthdays today. I hope you find something to keep you warm during this cold week!

The same way new movies come out on Thursday, Tuesdays are the day of the week that publishing companies releases new books! Each Tuesday I use my New Release Tuesday post to talk all about the books that I’m excited for that are releases on that particular Tuesday. I break these down into three categories: Read, TBR, and Wishlist. Books under the ‘Read’ section are books I received an advanced copy of and usually will have a review to accompany it. ‘TBR’ are books I have copies of, generally advanced copies, that I have yet to read but are on my list to get to. ‘Wishlist’ are books that I’m excited out that I want to purchase and are on my Amazon Wishlist!

Make sure to sign up for my blog, down at the bottom, to get weekly editions of New Release Tuesday, straight to you email. Don’t forget to follow me on instagram as well @speakingof_books for daily updates and pictures of Sadie!

All Girls, follows a all girls boarding school and shows the impact past events can have on a current student population. Layton’s debut novel tackles the way school administrations, particular boarding schools, handle sexual assault accusations in the ‘Me Too’ movement and compare those actions to those of the 20th century.
