April books are here! Is it just me or do alot of this month’s picks give off vibes for another book club subscription and not the usual BOTM vibes? I’m not hating on this month’s picks, I was just surprised to see some of these this month. However, we do have plenty to choose from and even have 2 books within the new BOTM Collection to pick from.
Reminder that if none of these are speaking to you this month be sure to check out some of my Most Anticipated New Releases lists. If you’re looking for add-ons to put into your boxes be sure to check out my BOTM add-on recommendations, which I update every couple of months.

My Picks
I’ve only read two of this month’s picks so far. Nothing Tastes as Good, was a weird little book that is part horror and part social commentary on societal expectations of beauty and being thin. I liked it but it won’t be for everyone, and TW for eating disorders.
Nothing Tastes as Good Review
Mad Mabel was very good. It felt different from Sally Hepworth’s other books but I really liked out format and story of Mabel. Very much a feel good mystery because of the character development of Mabel.
Mad MAbel review
I’ve been dying to read Yesteryear and The Ending Writes Itself so added both of those to my box. I was going to try and hold out on adding any additional books to my box, BUUUTT A Good Person sounds so good and right up my alley. So, I also ended up adding that as a pick.
I have copies of all the remaining books already, and I’ll be reading some of them soon, be sure to check back for my reviews!
That’s what’s in my box this month! Did we pick any of the same books this month? Let me know in the comments below, over on my Instagram HERE, or on my TikTok HERE.
