Tegan literally runs into Atlas (a wolven who owns a gym) and ends up enlisting his help moving a cake, after a wedding cake disaster leaves her scrambling for her backup cake. After their chaotic meet-cute, she ends up joining his gym, Leviathan Fitness, where training sessions, lingering glances, and growing attraction quickly turn into something more.
I really enjoyed Muscles & Monsters. I thought it was such a fun story and a great pick if you’re in the mood for a light monster romance. It’s definitely open door and leans into the instant love trope between the main characters, which made their relationship feel quick, sweet, and very swoony. The POV switches between Tegan and Atlas, which lets you see both sides of their connection as it develops. I also loved the supporting characters and can’t wait to meet more of them in the rest of the series. Overall, it was a really cute story. Nothing super deep, but very entertaining, and I’d definitely read more in the series.
