The final books of the year have dropped from Book of the Month! Even though I like this month’s picks, I had a hard time deciding on which ones to add to my box. In part because I have copies of most of the books and the other half weren’t really on my radar. I am actually reading two of this month’s picks already as well, so be sure to come back for my reviews soon. however, I really wasn’t left with a ton of choices to choose from.

I skipped this month
I started Best Offer Wins by Marisa Kashino back up after putting it down in August. My anxiety was high then and the book was hitting weird, but this time around I’m really enjoying it. I also started Before I Forget by Tory Henwood Hoen, though I’m still too early to know how I feel about it, so stay tuned.
Sitting on my shelf are Dark Sisters by Kristi DeMeester and Buckeye by Patrick Ryan. Buckeye especially is becoming a favorite for so many readers and it’s on my “10 Before the End” list, so I’m determined to get to it soon.
My current audiobook is Good Spirits by B.K. Borison, which is shaping up to be a reader favorite and honestly, I’m loving it. I mean festive books always get me this time of year but the audiobook has a great narration and i’m really enjoying it so far. We Who Will Die, the start of a new Roman-inspired romantasy series that I’m very excited to start, while The Rebel and the Rose is YA and just not something I’m in the mood for right now. And then there’s The Wicked, a dark romance and also the start of a new series. I’m actually surprised BOTM offered it, but I’m curious to see what everyone thinks. Lots of good reads ahead, so be sure to come back for reviews soon!
