How to Kill Men & Get Away With It is a brilliantly twisted take on the modern thriller, following influencer Kitty Collins, who’s fed up with toxic men and decides to do something about it—like, permanently. Think Dexter meets American Psycho, but with a sharp, satirical edge. Kitty’s social media-perfect life hides a much darker side, and as she takes on the worst of the worst, she’s forced to balance her influencer persona with her deadly new hobby.
Despite the grim premise, this book is filled with darkly hilarious moments. Kitty is a chaotic antihero, but you can’t help but root for her (even if you’re a little horrified by her methods). It’s a clever, fast-paced story that balances satire and suspense perfectly. Yes, it’s a bit gory, but that just adds to the impact.
If you’re a fan of dark, twisty, and slightly unhinged stories with a fierce female lead, I highly recommend this one.
