July 2020 Picks
My Boxes
Three out of the six books I picked up were add-on’s. Two are past picks. I ended up getting a copy of The Vanishing Half. I had skipped it for June because I had an eCopy, however I loved it so much that I added a physical copy to my box. I also added Brit Bennet’s first novel The Mothers, which is our July pick for our Let’s Read Rant Repeat bookclub! In addition to these two add-on’s, I also added Notes on a Silencing which was a new add-on for July and a memior. Memoirs are outside my normal genre but this one sounds very interesting.
In terms of July picks, I went with the Shadows, obviously because I loved Alex North’s The Whisper Man. I also decided on Head Over Heels since I’ve been craving rom-com type books. Lastly, I picked another non-fiction, like who even am I?? Big Friendship talks all about relationship and I can’t wait to dive in.
